Judith English will be in the exhibition rooms between 12 noon and 2 pm to explain the project and answer questions. Judith English will be known to some of you as a former Principal of St Hilda's College. In retirement she became a Founder Member of the PHT project, serving on the UK committee and taking responsibility for organising exhibitions of the work. The project appealed to her because it involved women helping women who were living in difficult circumstances and because of a personal Interest in textile art.

ALL WELCOME.

The Palestinian History Tapestry

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

The show illustrates the history of the Land of Palestine, from the Neolithic era to the present. Palestinian women, many of them who live in refugee camps across the Middle East, have produced the artwork on display. The works are an honest and touching depiction of the history of the land and its people and their everyday life.
