The LGBTQ society of Wolfson College will hosting a film screening of the movie Fire (1996) on the 13th of November. Directed by Deepa Mehta and with stellar performances by actors like Shabana Azmi and Nandita Das, the movie was the first of its kind to open the debate on homosexuality in India. The movie promises to be deeply engaging. Please do come for a discussion after the movie and for delicious cakes and cookies.
