9th Coffee Break Conference

This conference explores scientific disciplines or knowledge-systems that have had a significant impact on premodern Asian culture and thought, namely grammar, mathematics & astronomy, music and medicine. Each of these traditions will form the scope of an individual panel and be chaired by a specialist in the field; an additional panel will be held on "technology" in premodern Asia.
