Roger and Fay Booker Materials Science Travel Award

The Roger and Fay Booker Materials Science Overseas Travel Award is offered annually to a member of Wolfson College studying for a graduate degree in Materials Science. The award of £500 is intended to enable the recipient to attend an overseas scientific conference or undertake laboratory work abroad. If required, the successful candidate may also apply for a College Conference or Fieldwork Grant to supplement the award.

Selection of the successful candidate will be made by the Head of the Department of Materials in conjunction with the Senior Tutor.

Applicants should provide a curriculum vitae, a statement of support from their supervisor and details of the conference to be attended or the proposed laboratory visit.  A brief report should be submitted to the College on return.  Applications should be submitted to the Academic Office by 13 February 2015.
