President hosts Hilary Mantel

Dame Hilary, who was made Doctor of Letters, honoris causa, is most widely known for her Man Booker Award-winning novels charting the life of Thomas Cromwell. 

Encaenia is held annually, and is the ceremony at which the University awards honorary degrees to distinguished people and commemorates its benefactors.
