Forbes names Wolfson Alumnus on 30 Under 30 list

Yannis Assael, now a Senior Research Scientist at Google Deepmind, undertook both an MSc and his DPhil in Oxford. During his DPhil, he co-developed a lip-reading model that outperformed humans. He's a co-inventor on four patents and his latest project uses deep neural networks to restore missing parts of ancient Greek texts.
