Geoffrey Garton Creative Arts Fellowship

Wolfson nurtures creativity in all its forms — be it art, music, creative writing, or dance.

As well as the College's unique collection of modern art, Wolfson supports Creative Arts Fellowships in the visual arts, music, performing arts or creative writing.

In 2018, the Wolfson Creative Arts Fellow became the Geoffrey Garton Creative Arts Fellow, in honour of a generous legacy made to Wolfson College by the late Dr Garton, a former Fellow and Bursar of Wolfson College. Income from this legacy provided a significant increase to the stipend available for this Fellowship, as well as support for Wolfson’s gardens, art collections and music scene.  We are currently advertising for a Geoffrey Garton Creative Arts Fellow in Music from 1 October 2024.  Please note that the closing date for all applications is 29 March 2024.
