Contractor Visiting Procedure

• The College has a responsibility for the Health and Safety of contractors and others whom it employs.

• It is essential that the college, in the form of the relevant Head of Department should be aware of contractors presence on site and should have approved a Risk Assessment Method Statement, seen evidence of public liability insurance and had the contractor complete the Wolfson Contractors questionnaire before giving consent for the work to proceed. Students and members of college or staff who are not authorised to do this should not give instructions or allow access to contractors.
