Wolfson's first crowdfunding campaign has reached the home straight with an amazing £18,000 donation from Live 2 Love UK. Due to matched funding provided by the Ti-Se Foundation, the gift was worth £36,000 to the campaign, and leaves us with just £1,059 to raise in five days to support the future of Tibetan research.

The Tibetan speaking world and its Buddhist legacy are a precious and integral part of the world's cultural heritage. However, they are in a precarious situation: the Himalayas are affected by rapid changes and modernisation, and due to political circumstances the Tibetan speaking communities are scattered over many countries. Studying and preserving Tibetan cultural heritage is therefore an urgent need.

This campaign will support the establishment of post-doctoral Research Fellowship, helping a passionate researcher take the difficult first step from completing a doctorate to their first academic job.

All support is gratefully welcomed, whether you can give £5 or £500. Further details can be found on the Hubbub crowdfunding page.
