Connect with Wolfson
All members of the College (fellows and students) are also members of the Common Room. Other categories of membership are also welcomed, such as postdoctoral and research members from within the University, academic visitors and members from within the local community who are keen to make an active contribution to the life of the College. (Such categories are subject to election.) The result is a community of exceptional diversity.
Our members are kept informed about events in College through a weekly newssheet (distributed electronically) and may attend General Meetings at the College which take place twice a term.
The Common Room is also a room in College where members, their families and guests can meet for coffee or drinks, or to read the newspapers and magazines provided. Unusually for Oxford, Wolfson does not have separate common rooms for different categories of membership, which reflects the egalitarian quality of the College's life and activity.
