A Fresh New Look for the Family Room
Wolfson College is delighted to announce the completion of a full refurbishment of the Family Room, thanks to a generous anonymous donation.
The space has been refreshed with new fitted cupboards and storage, a dedicated baby-changing area, new carpeting and full redecoration throughout. The Family Room is a much-loved space for Wolfson families, providing a comfortable and practical area for parents and children to spend time together on site and these improvements will make it even more welcoming.
Wolfson is unique among Oxford colleges for the strength of its family-friendly environment. The College offers dedicated family accommodation, an on-site nursery and even its own children’s playground. The Family Room is believed to be the only space of its kind within an Oxford college, a dedicated communal room designed specifically for families to relax, play, and connect.
Development Director Huw David said: “The Family Room is a special space for Wolfson families to meet, play, and learn. We’re immensely grateful for the generous donation which has made the room’s renovation possible.”
