GIVING opportunities
Gifts of all sizes will make a real difference in this landmark development for Wolfson.
Will your donation buy one square metre of the Garden Building’s flint façades? Or a solar panel for its roof? Or the clematis that will climb its western elevation?

Naming opportunities
We are delighted to offer a range of naming opportunities for bigger gifts to the Garden Building, from student bedrooms to the building itself. These are available through single gifts and cumulative giving. For example, a gift of £25,000 will name a student bedroom, whether as a single gift or as five annual instalments of £5,000.

UK taxpayers can further reduce their gifts through tax-efficient donations. Wolfson can claim Gift Aid on donations and the donor can reclaim it against his or her tax liability. For example, if a donor pays the Higher Rate of income tax (40%) and makes a gift of £40,000, Wolfson can claim £10,000 in Gift Aid, making the value of this gift £50,000. The donor can then claim tax relief of 25% of the grossed-up value of the gift (£10,000).
All donors who make a gift to the Garden Building, of any size, will have their name recorded in the College Record, unless they prefer to remain anonymous. Donors who give more than £500 cumulatively will, if they wish, have their name inscribed on a special Garden Building Donor Board, which will be installed prominently in the building.
