Patricia Anne Nuttall

Pat is Emeritus Professor of Arbovirology in the Department of Biology (formerly Zoology), University of Oxford. Her current research interests are in blood-feeding ticks and tick-borne pathogens. She has been associated with Wolfson College many years, starting her career as a Junior Research Fellow, and helped create Wolfson Innovate to promote college entrepreneurism (now the University’s All-Innovate venture). Distinctions include the Ivanovsky Medal for Virology (Russian Academy of Sciences), an OBE for services to environmental sciences, and the Harry Hoogstraal medal from the American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene.
