Moritz Riede is Professor of Soft Functional Nanomaterials in the Department of Physics. Moritz Riede's research interests are renewable energies and energy policy in general and organic solar cells in particular. Moritz Riede joined Wolfson College and the University of Oxford in 2013, coming from the Institut für Angewandte Photophysik of the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. In College, Moritz Riede serves on the IT Committee as the College's IT Fellow and co-leads Wolfson's Earth Emergency Cluster (EEC). The EEC's goal is to create and integrate inter- and trans-disciplinary discussion on – and a range of activities about - the ecological crisis and climate change, which are increasingly apparent and urgent.
