Dr Jan Fellerer works on the history of the Polish, Czech and Ukrainian languages with special reference to the modern period from the late 18th century to the present day. His main fields of interest are Slavonic philology include syntax, socio-historical linguistics and textual semantics.
Fellerer teaches Polish, History of Polish, of Ukrainian (and of Czech), Linguistic Description and Analysis of Modern Polish and Russian, Translation into Russian, Comparative Slavonic Philology, Language and History in (East) Central Europe in the 19th Century, and Prague School of Linguistics.
