Biography

Hohee Cho is a Research Associate based at the Pandemic Sciences Institute and the Faculty of History. At Wolfson College, she is a Junior Research Fellow, advising students in the Humanities. Her current project at the Pandemic Sciences Institute is focused on disease control and quarantine regulations in the Asia-Pacific region. She also has a strong research interest in the history of ecology, particularly in the context of plantations in the Pacific Islands. She first joined Wolfson College in 2023 as a Supernumerary Fellow, while serving as a Departmental Lecturer in Global History and the History of Medicine.
