Cathrin Hauk

Cathrin is part of the Medicine Quality Research Group at the NDM Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health and coordinates the FORESFA (Forensic epidemiology and impact of substandard and falsified antimicrobials on public health) project. Cathrin studied pharmacy and obtained a MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies at the University of Tübingen, Germany. During her PhD, her research focused on the quality of medicines in low- and middle-income countries and on detection methods for substandard and falsified medicines.
