Anke Ehlers

Professor Anke Ehlers is a clinical psychologist. Her research focuses on psychological factors that contribute to the development and maintenance of on anxiety disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder, and the development and evaluation of psychological treatments for these conditions.

Ehlers’ current research projects investigate whether the effective treatments developed by our group can be delivered more efficiently, and what the mechanisms of treatment are. Experimental studies investigate mechanisms of intrusive memories after trauma.
