My research interest centers on understanding active volcanoes, aiming to shed light on both volcanic hazards and potential resources. My approach integrates volcano monitoring, physical volcanology, petrology, and structural studies. By analyzing the timescales of volcanic activity in continental rifts, I strive to unravel the underlying mechanisms of rift volcanoes that lead to eruption. These investigations delve into the physical, petrological, and geochemical characteristics of volcanic deposits, providing valuable insights into eruptive dynamics and the storage conditions of magmatic reservoirs.
