Jonathan Wolff

Professor Jonathan Wolff joined Wolfson College and the Blavatnik School in 2016, having previously been at UCL, where he began his teaching career in 1986. He ended his time there as Professor of Philosophy and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. He took a BA and MPhil also at the Philosophy Department at UCL, and spent a year at Harvard as a Harkness Fellow.

Wolff's work is primarily in political philosophy, looking especially at topics related to equality and social justice. He has also explored a range of issues in more applied areas, such as health and disability, as well working on the relation between philosophy and public policy, through a number of case
