Quantum Music: a coming-together of Wolfson minds

On Friday 11 July, Wolfson Emeritus Fellow Bob Coecke, and former Visiting Scholar Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin will take to the stage together for the first time at the Galerie at UdK Medienhaus at Berlin’s University of the Arts.

This unique concert will bring together the experimental energy of pioneering industrial band Black Tish with the virtuosic artistry of award-winning pianist and composer Rakhat-Bi Abdyssagin for an evening of truly avant-garde sound.

The programme will include:

• A demonstration of Coecke’s Quantum Guitar
• A presentation of ideas and insights from Abdyssagin’s recent book Quantum Mechanics and Avant-Garde Music: Shadows of the Void
