Join us for the 2026 London Lecture, ‘What do Supreme Court Judges do all day?’ by Lord Reed of Allermuir, President of the Supreme Court.
In his talk, Lord Reed will provide a unique insight into the role, responsibilities and working methods of a judge on the UK’s highest court. Using recent decisions as case studies, he will explain how a Justice decides cases, shedding light on the nature of value of legal reasoning, and on the constitutional role of the Supreme Court. The lecture will also offer an insight into judges’ extra-judicial work, highlighting international engagements and outreach work.
