The Sacred Funk Quartet play ancient, spiritual music that has journeyed from West Africa to the rest of the world. The all-star musical Quartet features two-time Grammy Award-winning percussionist Lekan Babalola and acclaimed British clarinetist Kate Luxmoore, with the exceptional talents of guitarist Reuben Reynolds, bassist Josh Vadiveloo and guest guitarist Jon Escoto Brown.

The Sacred Funk Quartet have performed individually across the world from the Hollywood Bowl to Birmingham Symphony Hall and collectively in the UK and most recently in Cuba at the 2025 Havana Jazz Festival.
