Join us for a talk by Cóman Kenny – a part-time Law DPhil Student and prosecutor of serious international crimes. He has worked at the International Criminal Court, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (Khmer Rouge Tribunal) and is currently working as a lawyer with the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar.
His presentation will cover some of the key challenges and outcomes of the efforts to bring perpetrators of the mass atrocities committed during the nearly four-year reign of the Khmer Rouge to justice, decades after the events.
Please note that the time and location have changed from the previous announcement. Due to the limited seating in the media room, we encourage attendees to arrive early to secure a spot. A hybrid option via Teams (the link to join is below) will also be available for those joining remotely.
