Join us for an insightful talk on how artificial intelligence is transforming the way we collect, process, and utilise environmental data. From sensor-based fieldwork to data-driven policy and decision-making, this session will explore real-world applications, emerging technologies, and the power of AI in tackling global environmental challenges. Open to all disciplines – everyone welcome!

Marios Charilaou is a hydroinformatics researcher and the CEO of Morphosis, a UK-Cyprus-based company working at the intersection of AI and Knowledge OnDemand, with a strong focus on the water and energy sectors. A Wolfson alumnus with an MPhil in Global and Area Studies, he will explore how AI can transform environmental data, from field collection to decision-ready modelling. Drawing on recent work in water metrics, fuzzy set calibration, and AI prompting, he will share practical methods for applying these tools across water, energy, and climate systems.
