The Wolfson Engineering Society invites you to the 4th Annual Wolfson Engineering Day, newly expanded this year as the Wolfson Interdisciplinary Research Day, at the Buttery on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, from 12:30 to 16:00. Come along to discover the exciting projects your fellow Wolfies are working on while enjoying free lunch and drinks!

This year, we are broadening the scope of the event to celebrate interdisciplinary research across the college, bringing together ideas and collaborations beyond engineering.

This will be a casual and interactive forum—participate as much or as little as you like! No matter your academic background, this is a great opportunity to share your work—whether through a 3-minute talk, a demo, or a poster—or simply to learn from others.

Event Highlights
🔹 Flash Talks (3 minutes) – Share your research or projects in a quick and engaging format.
🔹 Demonstrations – Showcase your work to the Wolfson community!
🔹 Posters – Present your work visually and spark discussions with fellow enthusiasts.

Some of our participants from last year will also return to share the progress they have made over the past year, offering a great perspective on how ideas and projects evolve over time.

This is a great opportunity to introduce yourself professionally to the Wolfson community—regardless of your discipline or background. It’s also a fantastic way to boost your CV by showcasing your work and engaging with fellow researchers.

To celebrate the day, the Wolfson College Film Society will be screening an engineering-related movie in the evening. More details will be shared shortly in our flyer.
