Central Asian and Turkic Studies Cluster

The Central Asian And Turkic Studies Cluster (CATS) is a dynamic hub for Central Asian and Turkic Studies based in Wolfson College. The cluster embraces a range of disciplines in the humanities from language and literature to history and material heritage. In its first year, the cluster will offer a varied calendar of events at Wolfson, including courses for lesser-studied Turkic and Central Asian languages, lectures and seminars, and social events.

The cluster is led by a steering committee made up of Emine Çakır, Alain George, Nicholas Kontovas, Zeynep Yürekli, and Ali Porteous.
