Wolfson College offers a range of rooms which can accommodate groups of 10 to 100.

Over the years the College has established a high reputation for the quality of its catering and service.

We provide facilities for the disabled and some parking.

In addition, between July and September the College offers high quality en-suite rooms for residential meetings and conferences.

The beautifully landscaped gardens provide an air of peace and tranquillity against the backdrop of the River Cherwell, offering an ideal setting for a range of functions. The main entrance leads to a cloistered quadrangle and onto lawns sloping down to the river and the meadows beyond.

The Function Rooms

The Haldane Room: a large, square panelled room, approached through the Berlin Quadrange and the Marble Hall.

The Florey room: a comfortable room overlooking the punt harbour and the river beyond.

The Private Dining Room: ideal for small meetings and dinners with a connecting room for break-out sessions or reception drinks.

The Buttery: a pleasant room on the ground floor with a terrace leading to a grassy quadrangle with trees. Facilities for the disabled are nearby.

The College Hall: a fine chestnut panelled hall with a pyramid roof, suitable for dinners, wedding receptions and concerts.

B&B accommodation

From early July until mid-September, Wolfson offers B&B accommodation to visitors and tourists. The bedrooms used for guest bookings are in the newest buildings, well decorated and well maintained. Bedrooms are single rooms, all en-suite; not 'posh' but very comfortable, immaculately clean, well furnished and decorated. They are serviced, with linens, towels, welcome toiletries and internet provided. A particularly attractive feature is that bedrooms are grouped in sets of 4 to 9, around a shared Kitchen/Lounge. These have all modern appliances, and provide a very pleasant space for informal socialising and relaxing. Residents have use of the College's on-site car park. There is 24 hour access, and a very warm welcome.

With its lush lawns leading down to a private harbour and meadow land beyond, Wolfson feels like rustic English countryside - yet it's only a 5 minute bus ride from the City Centre. It's a scenic and relaxing summertime setting, with the convenience of Summertown's shops and amenities just a short walk away.

Overnight rates depend on number of rooms booked and length of stay, with pricing very good value indeed and payment terms very flexible. The booking process couldn't be simpler, with payment on arrival, and no cancellation charges.
