Martino Bardelli

Dr Martino BardelliI holds an engineering MSc degree in Life Sciences and Technologies with a specialization in molecular medicine from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). He obtained a PhD in molecular virology from King's College London for his work on several aspects of adeno-associated virus biology, carried out in the laboratory of Prof Michael Linden and Dr Els Henckaerts. In 2016, he joined Prof Simon Draper's Blood-stage Malaria Vaccine programme at the Jenner Institute as a post-doctoral virologist.

His current work combines adeno-associated virus vectors and the most recent advances in the field of blood stage malaria vaccines, with a particular interest in antibody production, delivery and engineering.
