College position:

I am an environmental geographer with an interest in energy, climate change and resource consumption. My current research focuses on Oxford City's sustainability transition, and includes work on providing infrastructure for electric vehicle charging, developing a smarter, more responsive and dynamic electricity grid, and providing heating to buildings without relying on fossil fuels. I also work as an environmental consultant on a part time basis alongside my research, again focused on working with business, charities and the public sector in Oxfordshire. I have recently moved with my wife and daughter to Charlton-on-Otmoor, about 9 miles from Oxford.
