Rebecca Bullard is an Associate Professor of English Literature at the University of Reading, where she has taught since 2010. Between 2006 and 2010 Bullard held a Junior Research Fellowship at Merton College, Oxford. Bullard completed a DPhil at Oxford in 2007, an MPhil at Cambridge in 2002, and a BA in English Language and Literature at Oxford in 1998. 

Bullard specialises in seventeenth and eighteenth century literature, with particular interests in life-writing, political literature, and the novel. Currently, she is writing The Oxford History of Life Writing, volume 3: The Eighteenth Century.
