Laurent Frantz

Postdoctoral Research Associate

College position:

Dr Laurent Frantz is broadly interested in evolutionary genetics. His research focuses on using genomic information to re-trace the evolutionary history of various domestic and wild species such as dogs, wolves, pigs and chickens as well as archaic humans. This allows Frantz to tackle fundamental questions in evolutionary biology, such as characterising the effect that natural and/or artificial selection have had on the genome of these species.
