I'm an Associate Professor/Reader (Docent) in history at Linnaeus University in Sweden. After my doctoral dissertation "Servants of Fortune: The Swedish Court between 1598 and 1721" (Lund University), I have published on various aspects of the early modern court, space, duelling, corruption, and aristocratic culture. My monograph "Early Modern Women at Court" will soon be published by Amsterdam University Press while I'm editing a collected volume on space and court ordinancies "Making Room for Order" for Brill.
My research focusses on the early modern court, monarchy, and aristocracy. At present I'm completing a monograph on the Swedish court 1718 to 1930 as well as projects on letters to the King, hunting, and who lived in the royal palace.
