Clotilde Laigle

Beecroft Postdoctoral Fellow
Department of Physics

College position:

Clotilde Laigle obtained her undergraduate degree in High Energy Physics from Ecole Polytechnique, France, and PhD at the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris, France. She joined the Department of Physics in October 2016 for her first Postdoctoral Fellowship as a Beecroft Fellow.

Laigle's work is mostly focussed on galaxy formation in a cosmological context, using both observations and simulations. In particular, Laigle is interested in how the large-scale distribution of matter (the so-called "cosmic web") impacts galaxy dynamics and mass assembly.
