I finished my Ph.D. in Jewish Studies at McGill University in 2019. My thesis title was "One Truth or Two? Jewish Averroists on the Truth of the Philosophers and the Truth of the Prophets: the Case of Isaac Albalag." The thesis examined how the Jewish Averroist Isaac Albalag (13th century) treated the controversial question of the relationship between religion and philosophy.
Prior to coming to Wolfson, I spent a year at the Maimonides Center for Advanced Studies at Hamburg University as a research fellow and a year at Indiana University Bloomington as a visiting scholar.
