We’re delighted to announce that we’re now two-time winners of an Oxford Preservation Trust Award, this year receiving a Green Award for our newly decarbonised estate.

Every year, the Oxford Preservation Trust (OPT) awards prizes to buildings and environmental projects which offer an outstanding contribution to the character of Oxford.

This year, we won a plaque for the trust’s Green Award category.

President Sir Tim Hitchens said, “Thanks to the support of the government grant, the College’s own input, and the expertise of architectural and engineering consultants, we've turned a 1960s building into a place fit for the 21st century. We've shown that one of Oxford’s biggest emitters can become net zero.”

In 2021, the new Buttery project won the award for Best Small Project.
