The day began with coffee and pastries in the President's Garden followed by a talk by Professor Gillies McKenna about his exhibition 'The Golden Age of Japanese Prints' in the Florey Room.

A delicious lunch was served in the new Buttery where guests sat down for a meal for the first time since it has been refurbished. The day was a great success and well attended.

Huw David, Development Director at Wolfson, said about the event, "It was wonderful to welcome so many alumni and friends back to Wolfson on Saturday. We were treated to a warm welcome (literally, on the hottest day of 2019!) in the President's Garden, a fine lunch in the refurbished buttery, and a fascinating tour of the College's visiting exhibition of nineteenth-century Japanese prints with curator and collector, Professor Gillies McKenna. The College thanks all who came for their loyalty and support and we look forward to welcoming many more Wolfsonians back to College for future gaudies and events."
