The Experience of Courts is a Wolfson College Lecture Series which aims to explore the socio-legal dimensions of our experience in courts, and with other forms of legal proceedings. In this lecture entitled "A Tale of Two Europes", Lord Reed will focus on Law and Europe.

Lord Reed studied at the School of Law of the University of Edinburgh, and then took a D.Phil at Balliol College, Oxford. On 24 July 2019, the Queen appointed him to serve as President of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, the final court of appeal in the UK for civil cases, and criminal cases from England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
