The winner of this year's competition and the £1,000 prize was Alexander Peplow (Merton) for As Things Are. The runner-up was Mary Anne Clark (Merton) for Persephone.

Other short-listed poets were: Bhagya Casaba Somashekar (Merton) for Other Countries, Mary Anne Clark (Merton) for Bathsheba, and Harriet David (Somerville) for For Later.
