Opening Sunday 27 January from 5 to 7 pm. Refreshments will be served. There will be a short introductory talk by Judith English at 5.30 pm. Judith English will be known to some of you as a former Principal of St Hilda's College. In retirement she became a Founder Member of the PHT project, serving on the UK committee and taking responsibility for organising exhibitions of the work. The project appealed to her because it involved women helping women who were living in difficult circumstances and because of a personal Interest in textile art.

The Palestinian History Tapestry illustrates the history of the Land of Palestine, from the Neolithic era to the present. It has been made by Palestinian women within and outside Palestine, many of them in refugee camps across the Middle East.

The exhibition continues until 15 February. Open daily 10 am to 7 pm subject to College commitments. Visitors are advised to ring the Lodge on 01865 274100 beforehand.
