Glenn Mullin will speak on The Nyam-gur, or "Mystical Songs and Poems" of the Early Dalai Lamas.
Glenn Mullin studied Tibetan Buddhism for 12 years in the Tibetan School for Westerners (LTWA) established by the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala in 1971. He published approximately 25 books on Tibetan Buddhism. A dozen of these focus on the lives and writings of the early Dalai Lamas. His book The Fourteen Dalai Lamas of Tibet: A Sacred Legacy of Reincarnation won the Foreword award for best non-fiction book of the year. Another of his books, The Female Buddhas, won the NAPTRA award.
