Ceramic artist, Margaret O’Rorke, and Yi Yin, researcher in AI for health, are delighted to invite you to join their one-day practical workshop on Saturday 5th October and a discussion on Saturday 19th October on ‘Linking creative clay models with AI 3D Printing and design’. No previous experience needed. This interdisciplinary project is supported by SCC and OxfordXML research cluster.

Art is the result of human creative activities. The artist pursues new tools and materials to help them to express their creativity and imagination. Can the development of new technology inspire creative art activities? And vice versa?

During the workshop the participants will learn how to create clay models and AI 3D models and understand how 3D printing works.

During the discussion, the participants will be invited to discuss what they have felt and learnt and investigate how new sparks could be created by combining art and new technology.
