Film Society Screening: A Room with a View

Our “cities and cinema” series concludes with a trip to Florence, where James Ivory’s 1985 classic, A Room with a View, takes place. Based on E.M. Forster’s novel of the same name, the movie tells the story of a young woman Lucy who falls in love with George Emerson in a Florence pensione, but back home in England her fiancee awaits her return.
