Alumni Lecture and Drinks Reception

In September 2022, Meeting Minds will once again take place both virtually and in-person in Oxford. Alongside this weekend-long celebration of Oxford alumni, Wolfson College will be hosting a special lecture in the Leonard Wolfson Auditorium on Saturday 17 September at 5pm, with drinks and canapés to follow in the Buttery.

Our speaker for this event is Dr Christoph Bachhuber, Lecturer in Archaeology and Administrator for Wolfson’s Ancient World Research Cluster, who will present a lecture on the history and archaeology of the Hittites. Following a brief Q&A, Wolfson’s Vicegerent, Prof Nikita Sud, will be hosting drinks and canapés between 6pm and 7:30pm in the Buttery, where she will also share more about recent developments in Wolfson, including progress on our now award-winning decarbonisation project Wolfson: Zero Carbon.

Registrations will be on a first come, first serve basis. For those of you who are not able to attend in person, Dr Bachhuber’s lecture will also be available via live stream. A link will be sent-out closer to the date.
