Wireless Network

Wireless networking is available at Wolfson supplied by the University of Oxford IT service,  based on two services: eduroam and OWL (Oxford Wireless LAN).

Oxford Remote Access Account

To connect wirelessly you must first register for an Oxford Remote Access account. Learn more.

eduroam

eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming wireless access service developed for the international research and education community. It allows its users to visit other organisations and use the same username and password as they would use at their home institution. Learn more.

OWL

This service makes use of the Remote Access accounts and Cisco VPN service that IT Services offers to all University members. Learn more.

Wolf-Fi

This service is only available in College. It can be useful to help diagnose problems with eduroam (as all the equipment involved is run locally) or for devices that don't support the enterprise Wi-Fi features required to log into eduroam.  Keys for devices (one key per device) can be obtained by sending a request to the IT Team.

BT Openzone

BT Openzone is provided for short-term visitors to the College. The password is made available through conference organisers, as well as Lodge and Cafe staff.
