The Elisha Linder Home Page

It represents a small tribute to the life and work of  Dr Elisha Linder, of  the Centre of Marine Archaeology, Haifa University, and onetime Visiting Scholar to Wolfson College.

Dr Linder's academic work is notable for 

• research and exploration of Caesarea Harbour
• discovery and preservation of The Ma'agan Michael Ship
• establishment of a multi-disciplinary Marine Archaeology Centre at Haifa University
• the founding of a museum at Haifa University, through the kindness of Lord & Lady Jacobs, for the housing, safe-keeping and study of the Ma'agan Michael Ship
