They are Ann Cotton, the founder of Camfed, which works on behalf of the education of girls and young women in Africa, who will talk about her pioneering organisation, its aims and achievements; Professor Stefan Collini, distinguished Cambridge academic and literary scholar, speaking on the future of Higher Education; Mary Robinson, ex-President of Ireland, ex-UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and Chair of the International Institute for Environment and Development, speaking on the need for education on Climate Justice after the Paris Climate agreement; and Professor Stefan Dercon, one-time fellow of Wolfson, now Chief Economist of the UK Department for International Development, speaking on educational needs arising out of the Syrian refugee crisis.

This remarkable mixture of speakers on diverse educational themes makes for a significant and memorable series. These lectures will be of great interest to students and fellows working in a range of disciplines. We hope that you will join us for these fascinating insights into global education.
