Syme Lecture: Professor Mary Beard on Roman Emperors

Professor Mary Beard will be delivering the annual Syme Lecture. The talk, entitled “Images of Roman Emperors from the Ancient World to the Modern: Understandings and Misunderstandings”, will take place on Thursday 3 November at 6pm.

The annual lecture is set up in memory of Sir Ronald Syme, OM, the notable historian and classicist. He was a Fellow of Wolfson College from 1970 until 1989.
