Where can I find the Wolfson Prospectus?
Wolfson does not publish its own prospectus. You can read information about Wolfson College in the University of Oxford Graduate prospectus here.
What Courses does Wolfson consider?
We will consider applications for most full-time graduate degrees. To check if we offer your course, please see the University’s Graduate Admissions College Search.
How can I apply to Wolfson College?
As with all graduate colleges, you must be accepted by a department before we can consider your application. Please apply directly to the University, you can write on the application form that Wolfson is your first choice if you wish. Further details
How will I hear about the outcome of my application?
If Wolfson offers you a place then you will hear directly from us by email. If your application to Wolfson is unsuccessful then it will be passed onto another college that has places available.
What is the College fee?
The College fee for the Academic Year 2011-12 is £2,426. This fee covers academic facilities and other services that are provided by the College, it does not include accommodation or meals.
What sort of proof of funding do I need to provide?

Will I be offered accommodation?
Wolfson tries to accommodate all new students, although this is not always possible for late applications.
How will I know if I have been allocated accommodation?
Once the Accommodation Office has received your application form, they will confirm receipt and give you a time span in which they will contact you again with a formal Offer of Accommodation.
Can I bring my family/partner?
Yes. Wolfson welcomes partners and families of students.
If I am offered a place, when should I arrive?
If you are starting your course in Michaelmas term (October) you can arrive at College anytime from 1st August - please note however that you may not have access to all facilities over the long vacation and you will not have access to University facilities until your course begins. Wolfson Week in 2011-12 begins on 3 October and the University Orientation day is normally held on the 30 September. You may wish to arrive one or two weeks before this to settle in. If you are bringing your family, it is also worth considering that local schools start in early September.

What food is available in college?
The Dining Hall is open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday and for Saturday lunch throughout the year, except when the College closes for about ten days at Christmas. Meal charges to graduate students are subsidised by the College. A range of hot food, sandwiches and salads is always available.
Outside of mealtimes there are vending machines in the laundry room and the Upper Common Room. Freshly brewed coffee and snacks are served in the Upper Common Room between approximately 10:30am and 2:15pm.
How far is Wolfson from local amenities?
Wolfson is situated near Summertown where there are a variety of shops, restaurants, banks etc about ten minutes walk from College. Alternatively, Oxford city centre is a five minute bus or twenty minute walk away, and has all of the amenities that you would expect to find in a city.
