The Weinrebe Lectures in Life-Writing

In Hilary Term 2012, the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing will host a series of lectures from four eminent speakers on the subject of ‘Fiction and Auto/Biography’.

Thes lectures will all take place at 5.30pm  at Wolfson College, and will be followed by questions. The speakers are as follows:

Thursday 2 February (Week 3)

Tuesday 7 February (Week 4)

Alan Hollinghurst in conversation with Hermione Lee: 'What can I say? Secrets in fiction and biography'


Tuesday 14 February (Week 5)

Candia McWilliam: 'Where may truth lie? Fiction in memory, memory in fiction'


Tuesday 21 February (Week 6)

Hisham Matar: 'The closest exit may be behind you'
